Developing SLAM + Navigation for a swerve-steer robot using ROS2 with an Intel Depth Camera, wheel encoders, and an IMU. Implemented multiple SLAM algorithms in Docker containers with the Intel Realsense D435 to test which is most optimal for our robot. Saved $220 by creating a GPS-based compass for heading localization, avoiding the need for a gyroscope.

Optimized placement for the vehicle's solar array using Solidworks and linear programming, and created the arrays through research on the electrical design.
