Nicholas Ee is an Engineer in the Bridges & Tunnels Management (B&TM) division under the Traffic & Road Operations (TRO) Group at Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore. Nicholas facilitates the maintenance of Singapore's road tunnels and major structures along Central Expressway (CTE) and Seletar Expressway (SLE) to protect the safety of road users. He coordinates various inspection, maintenance and painting contracts to promote timely progress of works and to ensure that works are in line with LTA specifications. In addition, Nicholas assists in the preparation of tender documents to ensure comprehensiveness of tender specifications and to facilitate tender valuation.Nicholas studied environmental engineering with a specialization course in civil infrastructure and a minor in business at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He has achieved honours (distinction) and has been awarded dean’s list for academic year 2018. His Final Year Project (FYP) was published in the Journal of Energy Storage.Nicholas has internship experience in project management (2 months) and water treatment technology (6 months). Also, Nicholas has seized the opportunity to lead in university hall activities as well as in the army. Under the position of responsibility, his passions rewarded him with a best commander award in the 1st Singapore Infantry Regiment.Nicholas aims for knowledge and nurtures a persevering mentality. He prides himself on his attention to detail, producing quality work and achieving consistent development. Where excellence is possible, Nicholas will work towards it.
