I am currently working as the director of operations at 1800GotJunk in Omaha, NE. I started as the lowest truck team member in April of 2022 and have been promoted internally 3 times within the company since then. I am responsible for delegating tasks, running day to day operations and dispatch, reporting to upper management, data entry on various spreadsheets, bidding and closing opportunities, and still spend a lot of my time in the field removing items as simple as an old computer and as difficult as a grand piano. I have years of experience of navigating the Omaha metropolitan area with past positions as a caterer at Jason’s Deli, seasonal delivery driver for UPS, delivery driver for Pizza Hut, and other delivery positions such as DoorDash and Picklemans. I have an Associates degree in Business from Metropolitan Community College and have also attended Nebraska Wesleyan University as well after that. I own and operate a small Amazon business on the side where I sell various items as well. Although I am proud of my current position and how far I’ve come, I am open to bigger and better opportunities to keep my life progressing in the right direction. I know the city like the back of my hand, I am not afraid of hard work, and I have skills and experience necessary to succeed in a standard office environment or out in the field getting my hands dirty.
