This role was created as the Sales for Company continued to grow, with all three Showroom locations requiring to be lead, overseen and monitoring.I communicate the business’s KPIs and targets to sales personnel (including myself) on a regular basis, analysing patterns in consumer and market behavior from my monthly reports to analyze sales department performance. This aides with defining action strategies in order to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance.

My main responsibility here is the first line of communication with customers, both trade and retail, regarding quotation, sales and product queries. I aim to proactively communicate in all areas to keep everyone up-to-date and informed.In looking to bring the different departments together, I have been a key part in introducing new working systems for Production, Stock Control and Despatch. This has ensured that work loads and managed efficiently and effectively with lines of communication between each department are in place and maintained. I feel very proud to see the improvement and steps forward we have made.I have helped instigate further and more efficient use of existing software, along with designing and installing new quotation and invoice proformas.I use Sage Line 50 Accounts, for our internal bookkeeping and have been trusted to implement working systems to use it to its fullest, especially to analyse sales / volumes.

While on the Olympic Park project, My main responsibilities were as follows:- - Scheduling, reporting and tracking all tests performed by technicians both on-site and in the laboratory. This involves high levels of data entry using Microsoft Excel based programs. - Managing and organising the laboratory team to ensure testing is completed to stringent deadlines.- Co-ordinating samples not performed at our location. This entails mediating between clients and laboratories where individual registers are maintained to track samples. Incoming results are then distributed via Microsoft Outlook..- Utilising Microsoft Word, I am responsible for creating testing worksheets and certificates. These have to be designed in-line with UKAS requirements which are checked for compliancy in the yearly audit.Since January 2012, I have been based from our Maidstone Laboratory where I attend sites over the South-East to complete a variety of tests on various materials used in the construction industry.
