In this role in my fraternity, my duties included planning and coordinating social events within the fraternity as well as with other organizations, with the goal of promoting and solidifying the social presence of Lambda Chi Alpha at WPI.

I had the pleasure of working at a coal power plant, dealing directly with facility equipment and its respective data. As a New England resident, I was well away from home and focused my efforts on adapting to an entirely new part of the country and its culture. This company culture promoted a high level focus on safety and employed this concept in every procedure and meeting. I utilized Oracle to send work orders, purchase orders, and requisitions to help progress my work. Additionally, I engaged in extensive work with Excel and a data historian (PI) to identify and approach a solution to problems with plant machinery. This was finally supplemented by working cross-functionally with other groups within the company to share data and knowledge on our systems.
