About Nicholas Fox

Nick started his career by gaining a first degree in Electronics and Materials Engineering, then a Master’s degree in Information & Instrumentation Engineering. Having worked in a variety of industries in both technical and managerial roles Nick had the opportunity in 1996 to found the Image Scan Holdings group of companies to exploit the technology related to 2D and 3D x-ray inspection techniques for the industrial, security and EOD sectors. Having helped to build the group to a multimillion pound company initially as the CEO and more latterly as their CTO, in 2013 Nick decided set up Axi-Tek Ltd, to focus on Transfer Technology and the development of new products focused on the specific needs of the NDT sector. In 2014 Nick formed Metrix NDT Limited to supply world class x-ray components systems and solutions for x-ray inspection.
