Born in 1958, Nicholas Frost is a Sydney-based writer and Australian citizen, brought up and educated in New Zealand, and former resident of the United Kingdom. A professional musician, teacher of drama, theatre director, corporate consultant, editor and yoga teacher.Mr Frost is the writer of a series of fiction and non-fiction works: Awareness Alone (published 2021) The Wandering (published 2021), The Labyrinth: Tales of Entanglement, Escape (published 2022) and The Elusive: Four Novellas (published 2022). Total Drama, his drama training manual for secondary drama teachers and students was published by Macmillan Education Australia in 2010. Nicholas Frost holds a Bachelor of Music degree and Licentiates in piano, and a Diploma of Education in drama and music. Nicholas was from 1980 to 1985 a co-founder and director of Free Theatre Christchurch, New Zealand. He was from 1991 to 1997 director of Open Door Theatre Company, Sydney, and since 1997 has been a principal of Open Door Productions, a corporate consultancy in collaboration with his wife Gabrielle Gazal. For over 25 years, he has conceived and led workshops in artistic, educational, business and corporate milieus. Nicholas Frost currently works as a freelance editor of scholarly and literary works.
