• Undertaking field sampling using both heavy machinery and hand tools.• Working in industrial, commercial, and publicly owned sites.• Writing and proof reading phase I and phase II geotechnical reports.• Responsibility for ensuring correct inventory being taken on site.• Working in a soils laboratory environment and being able to complete a series of different tests, often to deadlines that required the prioritisation of workloads, time allocation skills and delegating responsibility.• A necessity to be an effective communicator in situations where concentration and alertness are vital such as working in teams on drilling rigs.
