As a UX and UI Tester, my main responsibility is to ensure that digital products, such as websites and mobile apps, are user-friendly, visually appealing, and meet the needs of their intended audience. I have a strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and user interface (UI) best practices, and I apply this knowledge to conduct usability tests and provide feedback to developers and designers.In my role, I have experience creating test plans, conducting user research, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. I am skilled in using various testing tools and software to simulate user interactions and evaluate the effectiveness of design choices. Additionally, I am able to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Overall, my goal as a UX and UI Tester is to ensure that digital products are intuitive, engaging, and provide a positive user experience. I collaborated with four Data Science students from UC Davis to conduct a rigorous examination of Proposition 27's impact on California. Our study involved performing a cost-benefit analysis using a scholarly database to identify the segment of the population with a greater propensity for online gambling. Additionally, we evaluated potential negative consequences, including the possibility of an increase in homelessness, and explored the feasibility of using tax revenue from online gambling to alleviate the problem.To further enhance our analysis, we evaluated the likelihood of negative outcomes outweighing positive ones based on empirical data from other states. (Final Project for ECS 162 Web Development) Collaborated with a team of three other UC Davis computer science students to develop "Education is Free Mobile and Desktop App" - an innovative application aimed at promoting free educational resources provided by the UC, including courses on edX. Our project showcased our expertise in frontend, backend, and database management. Utilizing languages such as React (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and SQL for user database creation, we successfully completed the project as a valuable learning experience. I regularly conducted inspections of gas pipelines and facilities to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.Overall, my goal as an On Grounds Security Advisor for PG&E gas lines was to provide a safe and secure environment for employees and the community while also ensuring the reliable and uninterrupted delivery of natural gas.
