I am responsible for the UK and Europe regional team that provides the delivery of end-to-end supplier assurance services and reviews to key business stakeholders; these reviews cover key controls such as cyber security, data leakage prevention, and operational activity to ensure the products and services delivered are fit for purpose, meet Barclays’ standards, and are executed in a way that will not harm customers.I am also responsible for managing the relationship between the UK and Europe Global Supplier Assurance Team with key business unit stakeholders, Information & Risk Management teams and Sourcing and Supplier Management teams. This includes due-diligence assessments during sourcing projects, ongoing monitoring of key suppliers and exit reviews.

I am responsible for supporting the delivery of end-to-end supplier assurance services to stakeholders across the region in support of the UK and Europe Supplier Assurance Team, this involves operating in a dynamic environment subject to business, financial, regulatory, and customer pressures. A core aspect of this role is to provide strong assurance management and expertise in establishing and delivering the Global Supplier Assurance regional target operating model, governance processes and service delivery programmes, applications and reporting metrics.

I am PIIA qualified and my current role has emphasis on operational risk management and in particular the requirement to produce a robust risk management framework, underpinned by a three lines of defence model. In addition the role involves assessing the internal control environment in order to provide on-going assurance that all requirements are being met and that the service is compliant with contract and policies. In addition I have completed ISO22301 Business Continuity Lead Auditor training and have performed audit assignments to review adherence to the Standard for both prior and post external certification.
