This has been super helpful in the development of communication skills. I can read body language, tone, posture, decipher clients needs and engagement from the person I'm speaking with. This pairs well with the ability to sympathize and understand where the person is coming from to give me a better understand of what actions should come next. Learning everyday and giving my clients peace of mind is what makes my job so enjoyable!
