He designs and facilitates important discussions about heritage and economic development in political and decision-making processes. His interests centre on new uses of cultural heritage, contemporary forms of cultural production, the use of heritage in tourism development, cultural heritage conservation and cultural landscape management. He has technical skills and interests in rock art conservation and in establishing monitoring and maintenance systems for heritage management, especially at significant heritage places.
