Development and Test engineer for the thermal engineering team for the 2022 FF91 luxury electric vehicle. Owned, planned and executed all testing for the power electronics, drivetrain, and battery cooling system, and HVAC including component level, HITL on a vehicle test bench and vehicle testing in laboratory and field. Developed components for the thermal system, including pumps, hoses, valves, compressors, AC lines, temperature and pressure sensors.

● Owned and maintained hydraulic actuated, National Instruments-controlled structure test stands for composite hardware for the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets. ● Increased efficiency of existing testing from 10 days per test to 2 days per test on the fairing test stand. ● Developed and executed tests from conception, including test article and test stand configuration, boundary conditions, fluid, electrical, software schematics, and concept of operations. ● Designed, modified, built, and maintained mechanical, fluid and data acquisition and control systems using NX and Teamcenter

● Developed and maintained all standard operating procedures, validation processes, and reports for engine development lab. Managed all incoming test requests, test cell scheduling, maintenance and calibrations for the engine engineering labs. Tracked and reported, and improved of all engineering lab metrics, such as test cell utilization and data quality. ● Executed and developed tests in nine engine and component test cells for various engines and engine components, including cylinder head pressure, turbochargers, and exhaust valves. Met project timelines and costs with MS Excel. ● Maintained test cell operation, including supporting mechanical and electrical facilities, oil, water, air temperature, pressure and flow control, electrical power dissipation or regeneration, data acquisition and processing, exhaust emissions equipment, and engine ECU interface and communication.

● Designed and validated new and legacy locomotive engines and engine components for manufacture at GE Transportation’s Erie plant and outside vendors. Collaborated with worldwide engineering team to validate concepts using DFMEA, design for reliability and tollgate process. ● Developed exhaust gas recirculation components for Tier IV EPA compliant engines. Led development from design requirements through component and system level field validation. Authored maintenance instructions and component specifications.

Graduate student researcher at University of California, Los Angeles – Modeled heat exchangers and heatsinks using Volume Averaging Theory to create a fast running FORTRAN code for optimization using design of experiment and genetic algorithms for the project “Optimization of Heat Exchangers” for The Nuclear energy Research Initiative.
