Instructor, VCT 278 After EffectsAuthored and taught VCT 278, an brand new offering at Shoreline Community College, a comprehensive After Effects overview course intended to turn novices into hire-ready motion designers.Created course curriculum from scratch, including weekly assignments, special exercises, lectures, demonstrations, sample projects, and best practices.Recorded hundreds of hours of tutorials and virtual classes for students.Created ScriptUI Panels and tools to expedite student's acquisition of After Effects basics.Instructor, VCT 205 SpecializationsTaught a 'Specializations' course, in which students pursue one topic of interest for a whole quarter, culminating in a final presentation and a portfolio piece. I oversaw the onboarding process for new employees, coordinated and taught classes on motion design (After Effects), and tutored individual static designers on motion design best practices and processes. I was also in charge of internships, mentoring high school students, and developing an education template for cross-team skill growth, including sending team members to classes and workshops at School of Visual Concepts, and design conferences such as Adobe MAX.
