I am currently the Chief Operating Officer of Beth Interactive, a digital marketing and e-fundraising agency in Chicago specializing in online strategy and consultation, email marketing, e-philanthropy, search engine optimization, web analytics and website design/writing/management. I am responsible for the operational management of the company including finance, accounting, contracts, budgets, facilities, information technology (IT), HR/people support and data analytics to support the growth and of the Company and its team members.Previous roles have included leading data science teams to measure the quality of High Definition mapping platforms for use in autonomous vehicles at HERE Technologies and leading the operational management and R&D teams to discover new methods for materials design and discovery at QuesTek Innovations LLC. My research career included working at the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Materials Simulation in Bochum, Germany focusing on the implementation of scale-bridging methods for steel research. I completed my Ph.D. in physics at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL during which time I performed DFT calculations in order to understand the physicals origins of the shape memory effect of NiTi. I am an experienced business leader, technical manager, engineer, and scientist with experience designing high-performance materials, creating data-driven platforms for product analysis in location services, and building software products for global clients and partners.
