Along with this, my role supported strategic communications through industry research to create copy for use in proposals. This position provided experience in technical writing, internal communications, and strategic external communications.

In this role, I provided value in my department through developing a diverse range of creative copy for both internal and external use. I developed social posts on the company's LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts regularly and aided my teammates in executing a company wide rebrand. During my time in this role, I worked 40-60 hours a week in shipping and receiving, outside yard, and customer service at Menards of Waukesha. At Menards, it was my duty to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while attending to guest services. Much of this work entails filing inventory for new deliveries, assisting guests in online order completion, as well as helping guests find the best product fitment for their needs. In this role, I continued my customer service skills and strengthened my communication capabilities, so that I may best serve the needs of the guest.

In particular, while I was a member of the Werner marketing team, I gained great experience from nearly every facet of the marketing department. My daily tasks ranged from event planning to copywriting and technical writing, a skill I would soon develop a passion over. This role also presented the opportunity for me to shadow the company's Continuous Improvement department, where I was able to learn new strategies to apply in my professional career.

At Sendik's, I worked in two departments being Dairy-Frozen as well as Grocery. Here I learned skill such as product organization and proper use of carts and U-boats for transporting product. I was expected to be helpful and patient with customers as I assisted them with shopping and general customer service. Often working 14-20 hours a week, I consistently worked until closing in both dairy and grocery as the only associate in the department. From Sendik's I have improved my customer service skills and effectively gained experience in the retail position.

As a caddie I was expected to have mastered the course and know all the tricks and trades inside out. We usually never went out for a round of golf alone so all of us caddies worked together for the most efficient means of service for the members. Also, at Blue Mound as a caddie I was expected to be friendly, and compliant with the golfers to ensure that every round of golf is their best round. Lastly, I was expected to have excellent space-management skills as moving from shot to shot I was expected to know what club is where and not fall behind in the process.
