I am a scholar-activist in international human rights law and advocacy with a specific focus on the treatment of sexual and gender minorities in U.S. policy and international relations. I study gender and intersectional analysis in international relations as a PhD candidate working with Prof. Kimberly Theidon at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. In addition to my ongoing doctoral research, I work full-time with professional experience spanning program development, grants and budget administration, fundraising, constituent relations, project management, event planning, operations, cross-cultural communication, writing and editing, and mediation facilitation. I am also a former regional specialist with a background in Russian, Eurasian, and Post-Soviet area studies, including in-country experience in Russia, Moldova, and the Baltic states. Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I am an active advocate and volunteer for causes related to human rights, civil liberties, civic engagement, inclusive democracy, good governance, historic preservation, access to education, and environmental conservation.
