The project consists of a High Pressure (HP) gas-condensate development located off the deepwater shelf in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, approximately 100km south of Baku in water depth ranging from 70m to 580mWorking within the engineering and execution teams whilst acting as a focal point to the client for all survey matters. Managing all survey activities, survey related engineering, personnel, documentation, budgets, equipment and sub-contractors for the pipeline, subsea field development and platform installation operations.

Senior Project Surveyor for Saipem Ltd working on the Sapinhoá Lula NE project (Pre- Salt Santos Basin, Brazil) responsible for the Far Samson Survey Scope of Work. The scope includes deep water pipelay support, acoustic metrology and as-built surveys.

Responsible for successfully managing all survey activities on the Nord Stream project for Saipem (main contractor) and our Sub Contractors. The Nord Stream project consisted of two 1220 Km 48” Gas Export pipelines through the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany.My Client facing role included creating writing and agreeing the Scopes of Work with the Client Nord Stream AG, undertaking ITT followed by selection and management of chosen contractors monitoring the undertaking of the work to specific procedures in a safe manner with changes requested and managed as necessary.Prior to the start of pipelay operations I managed the acoustic and ROV based Anchor Corridor Surveys of over 2500 sq KM of seabed. This included the identification of hazards including cables and wrecks and munitions.During the project I managed and led a varying team consisting of Project Surveyors in the office in London and Aberdeen, site reps in the Baltic, surveys teams on the lay barges, surveys vessels, plough vessels and mattress installation vessels. The complex nature of the project required me to undertake significant amount of interfacing between sub contractors and various works scopes to ensure that works were completed on site to procedure and specification.Following installation of Line 1 and Line 2 I lead the survey team in compiling survey as-built deliverables. This included final report writing and review of all documentation delivered during the project.
