Responsible for the overall management and implementation of the Healthy Schools and Communities Program in assigned states and regions. Plays a critical role in helping the Alliance achieve its vision to empower kids to develop lifelong healthy habits by ensuring the environments that surround them provide and promote good health. Responsible for grant management and overseeing program operations to strengthen the Alliance’s programs and position the organization for continued success. Participate in program leadership structure and share in overall leadership of the HSCP and execution of strategic goals.Manage, coach and guide a regional team to support the day-to-day operations, grant management objectives, strategic plan, performance benchmarks and staff professional development.Provide leadership for multiple programs and functions within the Healthy Schools and Communities Program.Integrate cross program activities and functions to achieve organizational and programmatic goals and measures of success.Consult, collaborate, and lead, on the growth, development, implementation, and assessment of special projects and initiatives that support growth, scalability and sustainability of HSCP. Develop and manage the implementation of programmatic strategies to achieve organizational and funder goals and objectives. Includes communications and relationship building with funders. Develop and support systems, processes, and tools to facilitate the collection and sharing of knowledge generation by programs and functions. Ensure program operation including budget monitoring, program outcomes, the collection of program data and implementation of evaluation activities.Document key team accomplishments, challenges and activities for reports and leadership.Develop, cultivate, and manage external relationships with stakeholders that drive brand, reach and impact.
