I have always enjoyed being creative and building things. At the start of the year I decided to take it to the next level by starting my own business through which I upcycle a range of locally sourced materials into decorative home-ware items. My current product range includes reclaimed wooden signs, wine bottle vases with various patterns permanently etched onto the surface, and candles created from empty bottles of all shapes and sizes (either branded or unbranded).Since then it has grown surprisingly quickly and I have and can fulfill order requests of varying volumes for assorted purposes, including but not limited to; • Personal/ gift purchases of stock items at craft fairs and through my Etsy shop.• One of a kind requests for bespoke pieces with sentimental value (e.g. wedding Champagne bottle into a candle).• Bulk orders with company specific branding for promotional, commercial and brand awareness purposes (e.g. for breweries/ orchards/ distilleries).• Bulk orders of plain/ generic designs (i.e. unbranded) for use in restaurants and similar.• Bulk orders of products for resale by independent retailers.If at all interested in my products and services, then feel free to reach out on my Etsy, Instagram or Facebook pages (Search adHock Design) or contact me directly on adhockdesign@gmail.com.

Job description as follows;1. Responsible for managing and delivering R&D elements of product and process development projects including project tracking and reporting; from brief to first production approval, prepare development proposal, time lines, ingredients research, development experiments & write up, project dossiers, protocols, reports, presentations, standard operating procedures (SOP's), formulations, taste trials, manufacturing instructions, packing instructions, analytical method development and validation, HACCP plans, COSHH assessments, production and packing trials, trial documentation and validation. To include: branded, contract and PL product development projects in line with commercial requirements, with due consideration for factors including raw material price and availability, manufacturing costs, legal constraints and quality and regulatory standards.2. Organize and execute lab scale formulation and plant scale prototyping, aiming for robust product design. 3. Work as a part of an efficient development team. Expected to work in an organised manner within tight deadlines to ensure that projects are delivered within expected time scales. Leverage available resources and resolve problems with a team approach. 4. Use technical and business knowledge to influence commercial and supply chain in strategic decision making processes.5. Be an expert on licenced medicines product development strategy by understanding the regulatory landscape and the impact of changes we make to our licences.6. Ensures that all activities are performed in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.7. Know the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; raises questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue; applies integrity in all aspects of professional conduct.

I have acquired two years' industry experience within the Research and Development department of a Mondelēz International subsidiary manufacturing medicated confectionary, whose products fall into both pharmaceutical and food categories. My current role requires me to develop and validate analytical methods using an assortment of techniques; for regular batch release, to strengthen current testing regimes and to assist new product development and licence submissions. More recently I have also taken a lead position in the organisation and generation of stability data for several ongoing projects.
