This most often combines large volumes of historic price data with a live high frequency feed.Trade execution directly from charts is a recent requirement of packages provided to clients, where order management is handled through a live data feed. Common aspects of a full feeds package include market depth, historic ticks, trade execution (via external API), fundamentals data, instrument search and categorised tree-based instrument cataloguing.The nature of each project usually dictates the required technology, but where possible, development is most often C#, .Net, C++ and using SQL Server.
