Profile bio

About Nicholas J. Diroberto

My passion for science led me to pursue a career on the cutting edge of innovation and law. In 2022, I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Through engineering, I explored the technical aspects of patents and their importance in protecting intellectual property rights, particularly in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. In July 2023, I passed the Patent Bar and became a Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO. The following summer, I worked as an IP Summer Associate at McDermott, Will, & Emery, where I gained hands-on experience in patent litigation, trademark litigation, and FDA regulatory compliance. As a 3L student at the Georgetown University Law Center, I am focused on developing my legal skills and building my knowledge of intellectual property law. In the future, I hope to work as an IP litigator and help innovators enforce their intellectual property rights. I look forward to learning from experienced professors, attorneys, and judges along the way.
