I am a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Ohio. I have worked in the traffic and civil engineering fields part-time or full time for over 20 years. I have been a full time engineer since my college graduation in 2000. The first 5 years of my career were spent with a consulting firm. In that time I was able to develop a thorough understand of the technical aspects of traffic engineering. My time as the City of Canton Assistant City/Traffic Engineer has allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of the operation and maintenance of traffic control devices including traffic signals, traffic signal systems, traffic signs, and pavement markings. I have also learned the consequences (good and bad) of certain designs and planning and design decisions that are made in the engineering process. My goal moving forward is to utilize the skills and knowledge I have gained as a traffic engineer for two purposes:1) To help maintain and improve the roadway and traffic infrastructure in the City of Canton.2) To grow Loukas Engineering to provide quality traffic engineering and traffic data collection services.Specialties: Traffic engineering design and studies.
