As the student team leader I manage and train a team of students in fabrication with 3D Printing. I train students on FDM and SLA technologies. As the student team leader I manage the requests made for 3D Printing by the entire College of Engineering at the University of Miami. I also create the schedules for students and manage active inventory of all materials going in and out of the 3D Printing lab.I also work alongside a highly experienced machinist/engineer learning the mechanics of the machines found in the University of Miami's College of Engineering's machine shop.Students come to me with schematics of parts they want built for various kinds of projects. My job is to see these parts to fruition and operate machines such as metal mills (manual and CNC), lathes (manual and CNC), sheers, angular band saws and sheet metal benders.
