I worked on the Land Based Gas Turbine Project which involved the construction and installation of two new heat treatment furnaces, a quench tank with oscillation, an automatic manipulator, an automatic ultrasonic testing machine, cooling racks, and all necessary utilities.• Determined plant requirements and wrote equipment specifications.• Performed basic design calculations, created 3D models, and generated drawings to be used for bidding and fabrication.• Sent request for proposals (RFP) to venders, obtained competitive bidding, and issued POs.• Worked closely with the local natural gas provider to increase the available flow for the facility and install an upgraded meter.• Managed the planning and installation of new natural gas piping, a new air compressor, compressed airlines, cooling racks, and modular offices/control rooms.• Purchased tools and toolboxes for the maintenance department.• Created and updated plant layout documentation.
