I am currently working on my PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Australian National University. My current research focuses on multiphase gas decompositions of spectral line data. This work has required end to end data pipeline processing, from data collection and validation through to analysis and reporting. In completing this analysis I use a broad variety of computational software and skills including but not limited to: Python, Jupyter, shell scripting, HPC/PBS scheduling, Git/Github, and bash usage to control a remote Unix server. This work is typically performed through Visual Studio Code and involves conducting the processing and logging of big datasets efficiently and carefully to achieve high quality end products.My background in both Physics and Earth science has given me experience in: analytical and experimental problem solving, usage of laboratory and field test equipment, data collection through control of remote systems, ArcGIS/MapInfo, and LaTeX in addition to the theoretical knowledge commensurate with a double major and honours degree in those fields.These skills and experience leave me uniquely well suited to roles involving the analysis and processing of large datasets and/or geospatial data. I am confident in my ability to fill any role where data analysis is needed.
