Led planning efforts and responsible for the integration and execution of operations for flight vehicle and ground elements of the project.• Managed approximately 200 matrixed technicians, engineers and planners for the OMM period of performance. • POC for integration of operations on both facility and flight elements.• Responsible for development and management of both the integrated master schedule and the daily schedules. • Performed technical assessments of complex electrical, fluid and structural shuttle modifications. Examples included electrical modifications to upgrade the Space Shuttle Endeavour’s crew module flight systems with the Cockpit Avionics Upgrade system (“Glass Cockpit”) and GPS systems. • Projected resource requirements for the contract and had oversight for mod kit procurement efforts.• Chaired technical risk identification/resolution boards and integrated actions into project schedule to prevent impact to program milestones. Performed remote launch control console operations of the shuttle’s main propulsion system in support of system testing, cryogenic/gas loading and launch. Member of the Shuttle prime launch team.• Received performance awards for development of several web based engineering applications, some of which were used for tracking flight vehicle defects, enhancing communications among engineers, and assisting with system trouble shooting

System engineer for the Space Shuttle Orbiter Maneuvering System/Reaction Control (OMS/RCS) Systems. Responsible for maintenance, modification, testing, trouble shooting and repair analysis of critical Nitrogen Tetroxide (N2O4) and Monomethylhydrazine (MMH) fluid, electrical and electronic ground and flight systems at NASA KSC and DFRC locations. • Performed remote launch control console operations of OMS/RCS ground and flight systems in support of system testing, hypergolic propellant/gas loading and launch. Obtained the highest level of launch control console certification and was a member of the prime shuttle launch team. • Task team leader and system matter expert on the execution of system operations which included hazardous handling of toxic hypergolic propellants. Was certified to direct and perform hazardous Self-Contained Atmospheric Personnel Ensemble (SCAPE) tasks at all site locations. • Recognized for several accomplishments. Two significant efforts included the development of an extensive procedure for hazardous Shuttle thruster replacements which significantly reduced turnaround schedule of replacements, and development of a tool to contain leaking nitrogen tetroxide (N2O4) and monomethylhydrazine (MMH). Received the New Technology Award from Lockheed Martin Space Operations for that effort.

Planned and developed procedures and provided oversight of Space Shuttle Orbiter and Ground Support Equipment modifications from engineering drawings and specifications. Significant accomplishments included authoring procedures to install mechanical systems in support of the Shuttle Manned Maneuvering Units.
