I am an international designer and 3D artist from Poland focused on utilizing future technologies within my art and design practice, I mainly focus on additive manufacturing and 3D art.Throughout my entire career spanning over a decade I am proud to have designed over a 1000 products and/or art pieces that have been manufactured in one or multiple copies.Since 2023 I run my own design studio named simply “Nicholas Koscinski 3D Design” where I mostly work in collaboration with my Mentor Steven Ma (architect and founder of Shanghai based Xuberance Design), taking on large scale projects from a wide variety of international clients. In 2022 I supervised a growing in-house 3D art team working with advanced photogrammetry and robotic 3D printing technology at Wolf Group.In 2022 I collaborated with Iris Van Herpen for the first time. As a 3D artist, I worked on four 3D printed dresses and the Ars Armoria heels for the Metamorphism collection presented in Paris and later worn by the likes of Winnie Harlow, Maisie Williams, Cindy Bruna or Janelle Monae.Previously I was a Design Partner at Xuberance Design and a remote Visual Study instructor at SciArch in Los Angeles.At Xuberance Design I was responsible for design and art direction of 3D printed products done for external clients and those being part of the Xuberance 3D printed product line.Since joining the design studio I have worked with a multitude of 3D printing technologies such as Stratasys Color Polyjet printing, SLA/DLP, SLS, FDM, and most notably DMLS technology which was used for 3D printing the titanium necklace/hearing aid that was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II at the Pitch Palace ceremony in 2019.In 2020, together with Steven Ma, I have completed the design of a 15 M long 3D printed sculpture for the Chengdu Luxemporium high fashion shopping boutique. Before joining the studio, for several years I was a Lead Jewelry & Accessory Designer at Tium, a European titanium 3D printed jewelry brand that had its world debut at Salon de Mobile Milano in 2018. I designed over 100 individual jewelry & accessory items that have been produced using EOS DMLS technology in multiple sizes and copies.During my time as a jewelry designer I have also worked with several brands from all over the world, eventually making it into the news in India for designing the first 3D printed gold hair accessories in the country.I graduated as MA at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland.
