• Build and lead the company’s digital transformation service offerings including creation of new services and hiring team members to build capability to deliver. • Delivery of major IT projects. Delivery of large IT solutions that impact all parts of the business. Data Centre migrations, Office365, 3rd party access system, Mobile device management. • Developing business cases with legal, contracts team, 3rd party suppliers and internal teams to establish costs and benefits and whether projects fit within the IT budget.• Manage 3rd party suppliers and SMEs having to work with external technical resources and integrate them into the internal teams of BA’s, Testers, Infosec, QA and dev teams. Collaboration and team building with cross functional teams. • Manage key stakeholders. Identify and communicate with key stakeholders across the business. Keeping them up-to-date and informed with any impacts to systems or timelines they rely on.• Change management & governance. Ensuring all governance practices and change controls are followed on projects when required. Including change management teams when users are going to be impacted and making sure all sign offs and approvals are completed.Key Achievements:• Migrated hundreds of servers and applications from On-prem to data centre. Worked with an internal team of BA’s, testers and an external migration team to move servers P2V and V2V. Managed the process to discover applications running on the servers and identify system owners, to notify them, schedule testing applications before and after scheduled migrations. Roll back plans were put in place in case applications didn’t work after migration.• Delivered 3rd party network access system. Saving $ and increasing security. I took over and led the project to create a 3rd party access system into the BBC network. It allowed 3rd parties faster and easier access to support systems instead of needing teams to purchase laptops and tokens to send to suppliers. Allowed for more flexibility and better support along with cost savings.
