• Multi-million dollar warranted Contracting Officer responsible for executing a full range of contracting functions including pre-award and post award activities for a variety of complex supply, service, automated data processing equipment (ADPE), software, and construction contracts for all Army and Air National Guard (NG) activities and locations throughout the state of Georgia.• Plans and manages the award of assigned projects in a manner that is consistent with regulations, policies and procedures to ensure awards are correctly processed within predetermined milestones.• Provides sound advice and alternative courses of action to affect optimal outcomes for program clients.• Ensures input of data is timely and accurate by being a System Administrator/Authorized caller for Standard Procurement System (SPS), Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG), Virtual Contracting Enterprise (VCE), Contracting Officer Representative Tracking Tool (CORTT), Electronic Document Access (EDA), Contract Deficiency Reports (CDR), Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).• Streamlines purchase request (PR) workflow by providing customized training to GFEBS PR processors and approvers on proper procedures to enter and review PRs to ensure accuracy and successful integration to SPS. • Effectively advertises requirements using FedBizOpps, GSA eBuy, Army CHESS and reverse auctioning platforms to reduce administrative lag time.• Significantly reduces margin of error by proactively troubleshooting potential interface issues between SPS, GFEBS, WAWF, System for Award Management (SAM), Commercial Accounts Processing System (CAPS) and other related systems.• Ensures compliance by conducting contract administration in accordance with federal contracting laws, DoD, Army, Air Force, NGB, local purchasing and contracting regulations, directives and procedures governing contracting activities
