A highly innovative engineer, with 18 granted patents for my innovations and more to come, I have now moved from 18 years in Oil & Gas to the renewable energy industry. Since university I have gained many years experience in Structural and Mechanical Engineering. Now working in the renewable energy industry designing wind turbines and the associated power systems. Previously positons responsible for skid systems and flexible hose design, product development, qualifications and PED. Also, previosuly Head of New Product Development and Subsea Technical Authority for an international EOM of High Pressure Connection Systems, responsible for the design, specification and development of all the subsea connection systems and equipment. I am the inventor on many of their patent applications and granted patents. I am experienced in working with many of the world's largest and most prominent oil companies, petrochemical companies, SSIV & EPC companies and military in many locations globally. I have also spent time offshore overseeing the installation and commissioning of subsea equipment.During the tragic 2010 Macondo incident, I spent four weeks offshore on the repair effort, supervising the installation and commissioning of some equipment. I have been offshore in Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic Circle (Norwegian North Sea)I have been responsible for the design of many pieces of equipment for upstream and downstream Oil & Gas installations, including pressure vessels, piping skids and ROV operated subsea products. Downstream equipment for petrochemical refineries and jet fuel installations, such as South Pars 9th Olefin Project and Mauritius International Airport Fuel Tank Farm. Upstream subsea equipment including projects such as Petrobras Cascade Chinook, Anadarko Lucius & Heildelberg, Statoil Polarled, MWCC and the Macondo Incident.
