As a program manager at Borsight, I was responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of military aircraft modernization programs. I managed program missions, goals, tasks, resources, revenue growth, and profit and loss (P&L). I successfully executed a high-risk military aircraft software development program that resulted in the successful displacement of a top tier defense industry firm. My team and I delivered our solution in less than one year after passing Air Force flight tests and the rigorous Air Force Systems Interoperability Test (AFSIT) on our first attempt while staying under budget. We were able to perform this feat by using disciplined engineering processes, properly prioritizing work, and identifying problems before they became insurmountable. This software is now widely fielded on mobility aircraft and supporting missions overseas. I also contributed to company revenue through focused business development activities. I was the co-lead for the winning Mobility Air Forces Tactical Data Link proposal effort, won new simulation and cyber security contracts, and successfully grew my existing programs.

Responsible for developing new business opportunities within the department of defense. Identifies customer requirements, budget, and schedule through extensive market research and customer interaction. Screens potential business deals by reconciling company strategies with customer requirements and market strength. Aligns internal research and development investment with defense market trends. Organizes and leads business proposal teams. Closes new business deals by negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with engineering, program management, and operations.

Managed test projects from concept to completion; directed and coordinated the efforts of test team members to produce reliable information used by top military leaders for acquisition funding decisions. Directed and reported operational test and tactics development for integration into the air-ground battle; key special operations and joint terminal attack control representative for National Guard Bureau leadership. Responsible for the modernization of all Air National Guard battlefield airman; tested and fielded over $20M in critical technology upgrades.

Developed and maintained a standards and evaluations program for special tactics operators; responsible for the training and combat readiness of 20 special operators. Implemented joint plans, guidance and procedures for air traffic control, close air support, combat search and rescue, casualty evacuation and collecting/disseminating tactical weather data.

Specially selected and trained to infiltrate non-permissive environments via parachute, overland, or maritime means to apply air power towards special operations objectives. Directed and controlled the delivery and battlefield application of lethal and non-lethal airpower. Used visual and electronic aids to control the airhead in the area of responsibility. Established long-range command and control communications and intelligence (C3I) nets.
