My name is Nicholas MacIntyre and I am a recent high school graduate from Jean Augustine Secondary School, a high school in Ontario, Canada. I have been studying Design + Architecture for the past 5 years and have been exposed to numerous great opportunities to advance my skills and knowledge. From the beginning of my high school career, my mentor Scott Currie has exposed me to the possibilities of attending some of the best design schools in the world, like the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). I truly believed this dream to be unattainable, as it is home to some of the best architects and designers in the world. After years of building my portfolio and seeking out opportunities to advance my work, I was recently accepted into SCI-Arc. As this was an ambitious goal I set years ago, I am beyond excited and proud to have my work recognized. This opportunity will certainly help me to grow and develop my skills as a designer. I hope to one day change the world through design and architecture, SCI-Arc is my first step in truly bringing this dream to fruition.However, I am currently in a situation where I do not have the financial means to attend the program. For this reason, I am reaching out in search of support from my architectural community to help me reach my goal of attending one of the world's top ranked design schools through any available scholarship, sponsorship or funding programs.
