As the Sr. Major Gifts Officer, my job is connect philanthropy and impact, to develop and deliver collaborative solutions to global ocean challenges.

As the Major Gifts Officer at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, I work to connect programs and philanthropy, in service to our incredible mission, our region, and our planet.

At PTS, I served as MGO for two years, securing philanthropic commitments for Pine Tree Camp, consistently exceeding annual goals, and activating newly discovered donors.

Worked as full-time freelance author and writer. Published numerous essays and short stories, novel FEVER was published in 2019, named finalist for Chanticleer International Somerset Award for Literary Fiction. Taught creative writing workshops, and served as developmental editor.

In this role I helped organize and execute a regional alumni engagement strategy so as to help drive engagement among Bates College Alumni. I was responsible for all regional alumni engagement on the West Coast, New York, Washington DC and secondary markets.

Promoted in September 2016 from Strategic Talent Management and Operations Associate, I took on a partial supervisory role of the new Strategic Talent Management Coordinator, supervising the scheduling of candidates, and the arrangements of itineraries for incoming potential hires. I continued to oversee space-management for the division of Development and Alumni Relations, as well as active recruiting for front-line fundraiser and alumni relations positions.

Promoted in September 2015 from Program Coordinator, I continued to provide administrative support for the Executive Director and assumed responsibility for strategic space-planning for the entire Development and Alumni Relations Staff, as well as creating a comprehensive onboarding program for new employees. I also continued to develop and improve the Staff-Intranet, and coordinated staff-retention initiatives, and organized all-staff trainings, meetings, and Divisional meetings.
