Ever since a child, I have always looked up to the brave firefighter of my community. The incredible service they provide to the community's citizens has sparked an interest in the career that has yet to vanish. I understand the high risks of the job but I'm determined to make a difference in my community. My hard-working attitude, ability to be very coachable, and drive for the well being of citizens makes me a perfect fit for the job. This career interest has lead me to pursue firefighting by working towards receiving my AAS in Fire Science at Everett Community College. Here, I will take all the needed classes while becoming EMT certified and having complete the Everett Fire Acadamy program. After all these things are done, I will receive my degree and be ready to join the workforce.
