- Adjunct Humanities Professor: Taught a section of Humanities course, which engaged students in philosophical discussion about the nature and development of human beings throughout history. - Online History and Philosophy Instructor: Taught online courses using Blackboard and Canvas as the LMS. Extremely proficient and versatile in both programs.

- Adjunct History Professor: Taught 2-3 sections of World and Western Civilization for the past several years. During my tenure, I have maintained engaging courses by blending pedagogical techniques, including creating websites and iTunes U courses to parallel the classes. - Website/History Blog: Using weebly created sites for each course nicholas-markellos.weebly.com and professor-markellos.weebly.com, including writing weekly blogs to enhance the classroom lectures and experience.

- English/History Teacher: Taught courses in British Literature, World Literature, and AP European History. Created unique and dynamic lesson plans for a technology driven curricula. Created and utilized LMS including building the school’s iTunes U site and several course pages. - English Department Chair 2006-2012: managed and coached 10-11 teachers for 7 school years. Wrote and implemented a workable budget for the department, as well as re-wrote the entire curriculum for each course in the department over the summer of 2010. Developed a SAT course for Grade 11 English Program to implement into the curriculum. - Director of Academic Technology: Oversee and manage the distribution and deployment of iPad’s to all the students (1100 students). Manage and maintain the MDM (Casper Suite – JAMF Software). Create and update an Active Directory/LDAP for the entire school network. Distribute iBooks and eBooks to all students using the Casper Suite and KNO for Schools. - Textbook Facilitator: Arrange and produce the book bill for the school year. Call and negotiate prices for textbooks and workbooks, dealing with 5-6 different representatives. Manage a textbook budget between $60,000 - $100,000. - Webmaster – LMS: Introduced, implemented, and created, the Learning Media System (Whipple Hill), including training 70 teachers on the system. Over the summers, I create and schedule courses for the entire school, including building the individual teacher sites and framing out grade-books. In addition to being the platform manager for the system, I am also the data manager and handled the migration of all the historical grades and constituent information.
