I’m an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter with a demonstrated history of working in the Oil and Gas industry. Previous to my current position I was a strong member of a maintenance team who are responsible for the maintenance of a BP fuel terminal. The terminal imports jet fuel through shipping, store hazardous product and export using pipelines, road tanker and rail.My family and I decided to emigrate to New Zealand and in doing so I took a job in a slightly different role. I took the opportunity to become a Mechanical Maintenance Planner for Methanex New Zealand.In this role it is my responsibility to create plans to allow schedulers, supervisors and technicians the ability to execute and complete mechanical tasks. I do this with the use of Maximo in which I can build job plans, obtain materials, organise contractors and create work packs.My family and I are loving it here in our new home and I’m enjoying the new direction I’ve taken in my career.
