As a design engineer intern at Siemens, I collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams to deliver customized mechanical products for various industries and applications. I apply my product design expertise and extensive CAD knowledge (NX/AutoCAD) to create and modify 3D models, drawings, and specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with customer requirements and standards.I am also a student at NC State College of Engineering, where I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, expected to graduate in Spring 2024. I am passionate about learning new technologies and skills, and I have been involved in research and several academic projects, such as designing and testing a closed-loop water tunnel for aerodynamic test purposes, using ANSYS to develop and study the effects of a porous medium on fluid flow, and using SOLIDWORKS to design models for Baja motorsports. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that mechanical engineering offers, and I aspire to improve my skills and learn more in my field.
