Nick McNamara is an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Creed & Gowdy, P.A., practicing primarily in appellate law. Currently a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, Mr. McNamara was born in New Orleans and grew up in Boynton Beach, Florida. He graduated from St. John Paul II Academy in Boca Raton in 2013, after which he attended the University of Florida. In 2017, he graduated magna cum laude from UF with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History. While attending UF, Mr. McNamara was an active member of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, serving on the Executive Board as Vice President for Alumni Relations. Mr. McNamara attended the UF in Cambridge program at the University of Cambridge in England, where he researched eighteenth-century British politics. He later wrote a Senior Honors Thesis focusing on the effects of the French Revolution in Britain. In 2017, Mr. McNamara began law school at Florida State University. While at FSU, he was a Staff Editor of the FSU Law Review and a volunteer with the FSU Veterans' Legal Clinic. He also worked part-time with the Florida Department of Financial Services and the Florida Office of the Attorney General. He graduated Cum Laude in 2020 with a Certificate in Business Law. After graduating from FSU Law, Mr. McNamara worked for two years as a judicial law clerk to Judge Susan L. Kelsey of Florida's First District Court of Appeal.
