Position Overview:Mechanical design engineer responsible for designing custom performance and durability test systems within the large custom test system organization. I currently am the lead mechanical engineer for the Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) test system and am the supporting engineer for the Multi-Axial-Simulation-Table (MAST) systems. Key Responsibilities:- Full mechanical design/development from initial concept stage to system delivery/integration/validation- Develop preliminary design concepts for pre-sale opportunities- Develop system specs and costing for pre-sale opportunities- Provide manufacturing support during system assembly- Lead cost reduction programs on standard systems- Design support for existing customer systems- Provide FEA support for the analysis group- Provide design support to transducer organizationKey Projects:- R&D: Development of overdetermined Multi-Axial Simulation Table (MAST) for high-frequency (>200Hz) testing of EV battery technology- R&D: Development Next Generation Passenger Car Kinematics and Compliance (K&C) system - R&D: Development of custom 6-DOF load cell- R&D: Development of 6-DOF Coordinate Measurement Arm
