Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Overseeing rigging activities and personnel with meticulous attention to detail• Planning rigging and lifting sequence in accordance with the client’s approved look ahead• Supervising, coaching, training, motivating and mentoring personnel, setting clear goals and expectations, providing relevant feedback and discipline as required• Establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls• Responsible for all heavy lifting• Planning and coordinating required load testing• Examining routine care and maintenance, fault analysis and safety of lifting machines• Delivering a high standard of sales, administrative and financial support• Customer service and liaison, building strong working relationships and effective communication channels with key stakeholders, resolving complaints and enquiries• Conducting periodic audits of rigging lofts and suspended rigging equipment• Compiling method statements, procedures and risk assessments• Developing rigging studies• Reading and interpreting technical documentation• Producing various reports, presentations, analyses, correspondence and other documentation • Delegating responsibilities, resources and personnel to rigging foremen• Resolving industrial relations issues• Performing as a strong leader of a cohesive team with strict enforcement of health, safety and statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
