I am currently serving in the United States Army. I am stationed in Ohio as a Recruiter for the Army, but my main Occupational Specialty is an Infantry Squad Leader. I have earned the opportunity to lead many Soldiers in high stress situations, while also being afforded the chance to speak to thousands of people about the opportunities that the Army holds. I am lucky to be afforded the chance to serve people in the capacity that I do. In the Army I have been awarded multiple leadership awards to include the Jared C. Monti leadership award at Fort Drum's leadership academy while also being recognized by the Sergeant Major of the Army and Army Chief of Staff for a leadership paper I wrote about the, "This is My Squad" initiative, describing my journey through the Army and the lessons I learned along the way. My goal is to one day transfer my knowledge, skills, and experiences over to the civilian side of work where I can make the lives of everyone I am honored to serve better.
