Responsibilities included producing 3D mechanical CAD models, generating 2D drawings, formulating parts lists, coordinating with procurement, and providing assistance to fabrication and integration teams as necessary.

I was the head of The University of Alabama's fuselage design team working to compete in the Cessna/Raytheon Missile Systems Student Design/Build/Fly AIAA competition. This involves working with a group of students in the design and integration of the fuselage and landing gear components of a remote control aircraft with cargo capabilities. Several skills utilized in this position include extensive CAD modeling in SolidWorks, time management, leadership capabilities, and the incorporation of an education in aerospace engineering.

Previously I was the team leader of the structures design team in a “CubeSats” course on campus where a nano-satellite was developed to be launched into orbit. Work included leading the design and development of the satellite housing structure, as well as the integration of the other subsystems.
