My job and duties include Set up, start, or load food processing equipment. Check, weigh, and mix ingredients according to recipes. Set and control temperatures, flow rates, total solids and fat contents log all analytical data and pressures of machinery. Notify QA of any and all products that are out of spec.

I work under the supervision of the quality assurance manager where i conduct quality tests, perform inspection checks, calibrate equipment, and communicate test results, hourly line checks, allergen test, batch analysis and verification of ingredients. I also place holds on products whenever specs are not met or any issues on the lines that require placing a QC hold.

I am tasked with setting up, monitoring, and maintaining machines and equipment used in production lines. Im also responsible for feeding raw materials into machines, operating machines, making minor repairs, replacing parts, and testing finished materials for compliance.

My role as QC lead was to help generate reports and maintain databases tracking quality issues and information. Provide support to production to help achieve their production goals and maintain a quality product and identify. Hourly line checks, CCPs, sanitation cleaning based on flavor matrix, and we also worked closely with micro.

My job duties include sanitizing filler equipment, rooms, batching areas, freezers and any and all storage areas including transportation and replacing chemicals for Cleaning In Place (C.I.P.) 3,5 and 7 Step C.I.Ps of Fillers,Mix Tanks, Warmers, Cooling Tunnels,Silos as well as Heat Presses and Heat Exchangers.As a crew we also controlled recycling as well as waste water testing pH values of all water leaving the plant back to the city. As a sanitation technician i worked closely with Krones, PAI and Eco Lab and also went through extensive Eco Lab chemical safety training that involved SDS and Ppe training as well as how to use and dispose of high concentration chemicals. Janitorial duties were also included throughout my shift such as cleaning office spaces, cleaning and sanitizing all restrooms, cafeterias and break rooms, all garbage and recycling, window cleaning as well as floor buffering.
