CONTRACT FOR NOAA NEFSC - Designs and executes analyses of relational databases using R (incl. shiny applications, markdowns) and SQL to inform business rule decisions for the NEFSC Fishery Monitoring & Research Division, Data and Information Services branch.- Independently writes code for groundfish data processing, maps and data visualizations, simulated time series models, QA/QC checks, and data dashboards. Produces documentation of methodology and results for others’ reference. Leads presentations on findings to the branch.- Past projects include imputing missing data through geospatial analysis, establishing metrics for compliance monitoring, and developing real-time displays for indicator variables. CONTRACT FOR NOAA AFSC. - Created reports and visual aids communicating how individual data elements collected from vessels across four fisheries were used to generate economic performance metrics utilized by the North Pacific Fishery Management Council.
