CurrentNew Product Build•Verify the build and commit quantity with program site and Material planning.•Generate MPS for new products•Plan and coordinate with Production on required capacity.•Liaise with Production on new products build requirements & shipments•Generate shipment schedule•Weekly New Product Launch build schedule meeting.•Liaise with Production on issues and requirements during build.•Liaise with Production on WIP parts status and disposition.•Keep track of WIP status at different process areas and work on contingency plan to reduce WIP pile-up.•Keep track of daily line throughput to ensure its align with the shipment dock date requirements.•Forecast FGs availability base on EOH, quarantines, line status.•Manage a team of Planning and Shipping for New Product Launch department•Arranging manpower on weekend to support submission and shipment requirement•To supervise Launch Material & Planning group and dedicate the job function accordingly•Updating daily build progress.•Liaise with production team on the IDM usage charging•Monitor scrap control and management•Monitor RMA parts management•Component qualification submission•Keep track and submit parts for internal component qual •Coordinate and arrange for special submission and requirements•Liaise with Finance on Launch weekly volume outlook budgeting in terms of starts, completion and scraps.•Liaise with the new product local and overseas design center.•Co-ordinate on the raw material especially substrates and targets requirement for Launch Products run•Liaise with vendor on the quotation, quantity and estimate available delivery date.•Verify with substrates engineering process and sputter engineering process on the grade and design requirement•Raise Purchase Request and submit to Material Buyer to generate Purchase Order.•Compiling BOM data from each process on the material usage for every new product & design changes and submit BOM document into Seagate Seascape.
