As a member of an agile team, I actively participate in project ceremonies to define, plan and execute project deliverables. As an individual contributor, I am responsible for developing and testing new functionality and reviewing team members' contributions.Key contributions• Won first place in the 2017 company hackathon out of approximately 62 teams and 350 employees. Our solution used augmented reality and virtual reality components to solve an employee workspace related problem. • Developed a PowerShell app to programmatically copy, modify, and generate XML to then be uploaded via SharePoint Patterns and Practices.• Coded dynamic "dashboard widgets" in Typescript which allow insurance agents a personalizable hub for notifications and quick links. The widgets are role based, height and weight dynamic, positioning dynamic, and content customizable. • Designed multi-layer navigation tabs to handle N levels, recursively, based off of a JSON configuration. • Set up automated Linting with TSLint.• Upgraded our build process at various stages with PowerShell and Gulp jobs.• Performed a database conversion using customized Excel formulas for each column of metadata transcribed.

Performed training and knowledge transfer to many new team members. Fostered cross-organizational communication and collaboration to improve application support and maintenance activities. Assessed poor performance of a large SharePoint application. Updated source code and application configuration to improve poor performance:• Nightly search crawl job times reduced by 99.95% (hours saved)• Application launch improved by 99.64% (8 minutes to 1.73 seconds)• Page loads improved by 99.85% (8 minutes to 0.74 seconds) • Document search improved by 98.14% (4 minutes to 4.46 seconds)

Worked primarily with SharePoint 2010 with minimal mentorship. Compiled requirements, prioritized changes, implemented functionality to SharePoint sites, deployed SharePoint sites, mapped managed properties, facilitated communication in a professional environment, researched and resolved problems, dissected, and documented code, utilized SVN, constructed deploy plans, managed code deploys, critiqued fellow employees’ code, collaborated with team, and documented changes for future team members.• Constructed a process in C# to export, and import all data entries, consisting of tens of thousands of rows, from one SharePoint application to another. This involved transcribing metadata to fit a new format. • Initiated form and list creation and modification, bug fixes, and support for multiple applications on a team of myself and one other developer. • Configured records retention for SharePoint audit lists and associated metadata. • Planned a structure of reviews and best-practices for future team structure with developer teammate.
