The Hult Prize is a not-for-profit organization run by the Clinton Foundation challenging global entrepreneurs to solve the planet’s biggest challenges with innovative ideas for sustainable start-up enterprisesThe 2015 Hult Prize “President’s Challenge” focused on Early Childhood Education for underprivileged youth and beyond, as selected by President Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2015. The challenge specifically asked teams to build sustainable and scalable social enterprises to address the early childhood education gap in kids 0-6 years old. Working alongside three brilliant and thoughtful peers from Emory University, competing in the Hult Prize was truly one of the greater privileges from my college experience. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to this challenge, my team learned about the many factors that go in to learning and development at a very young age. Drawing from a deep interest in the success of Head Start programs across the United States, we focused on was to increase the number of experiential learning opportunities within the household at an early age.-Competed with the goal of developing a social enterprise to create better quality education in global urban slums for children ages 0-6.-Led market research in order to develop a detailed market capitalization pitch. -Developed and pitched a comprehensive and innovative business model aimed at benefiting childhood development 0-6

Hack ATL is the largest business hackathon in the southeast offered to participants of all ages 18 and above.-Recruited and led team of 4 participants to develop and pitch a new innovative mobile app in less than 48 hours. -Learned valuable skills towards working efficiently on a team in a high stress and fast-paced environment. -Received Honors: Best Social Enterprise.
