Having grown up within a family building and engineering business. I graduated from College the first time round with a degree in Electrical Engineering, I returned to University as a mature student and gained a degree in Design Modelmaking for Film and Television. My engineering and practical background has given me an unusual but extremely useful perspective with regards to my Modelmaking and Design, particularly for the consideration of how to design, and having the practical hands on experience on how such would be manufactured or fabricated and finished. Experience and skills I have gained through hands on in the workshop, consultancy and project management for other companies or through managing my own company of Made Modelmakers. This wide range of experience and skills was reflected in my being awarded a rare E16 category for Permanent Residency in the United States. In 2020 I applied for and was awarded Citizenship of the United States of America, not bad for an Englishman from the countryside of Devon. My journey is continuing.
