I started my career at Boeing doing design and analysis on the 787 primary flight control team. I came into the team at a great time and ended up taking part in the design and implementation of several components, including Direct and Secondary lateral-directional control laws, control mixing, linear model generation, and the 6-DOF trim routine.I moved to Alabama to join the Ares 1 avionics systems engineering & integration team where I worked to develop ICDs, avionics simulations and a respect for good requirements. Next, I moved to developing software for the Avenger program. I picked up Ada and C++11 to support this project and its variants and have become somewhat more adept as a linux system configurator. In my spare time, I'm a programming geek and do a bit of coding in Common Lisp on personal projects and open source. In fact, I spend most of my time at work programming, then come home and program some more. I may be sick, but it works. I'm aiming to branch out in my side projects to the real world...i.e. some controls projects as spare time permits.Areas of focus: Software Development (C, Common Lisp, Ada, C++)Embedded softwareControlsAvionicsSimulation

From 2015, I've been an embedded software developer supporting the Boeing CST-100 program. I designed and implemented several software subsystems on vehicle, including the CST-100 command and telemetry interface to the International Space Station. I support vehicle operations with NASA mission operations at the Johnson Space Center. From 2010 to 2015, I performed software design, development and testing for the Boeing Avenger program. On this program, I've had the opportunity to become intimately familiar with the PowerPC 603e and the joys of programming assembly code, modifying the real time operating system, designing, implementing and testing control loops, protocols and all sorts of application code.
