I started my career at Boeing doing design and analysis on the 787 primary flight control team. I came into the team at a great time and ended up taking part in the design and implementation of several components, including Direct and Secondary lateral-directional control laws, control mixing, linear model generation, and the 6-DOF trim routine.I moved to Alabama to join the Ares 1 avionics systems engineering & integration team where I worked to develop ICDs, avionics simulations and a respect for good requirements. Next, I moved to developing software for the Avenger program. I picked up Ada and C++11 to support this project and its variants and have become somewhat more adept as a linux system configurator. In my spare time, I'm a programming geek and do a bit of coding in Common Lisp on personal projects and open source. In fact, I spend most of my time at work programming, then come home and program some more. I may be sick, but it works.
